Sund Birsta is a world-leading supplier of machinery to the steel industry, specializing in wire and strip binding machines. Over the years, the need for a change of form has emerged within the company. The contract was awarded to Frosting.

We started with a workshop to analyze the needs and set the framework. We then started designing a new logo. The new symbol represents the banding, while retaining the diagonal of its predecessor.

The design of the logo was a major undertaking and often emotional, as can be the case when changing something well-established. And after several years without a coherent guideline, the graphic expression was scattered in many directions. There was a lot to collect, take into account and dress in a new form.

A common workspace made the flow between client and agency smooth and we had frequent check-ins via digital meetings. Once we had reached a result that everyone was happy with, we moved on to the graphical manual, also very extensive due to the many devices involved.

Once the logo and graphic manual were approved, production of a new website began. Sundbirsta.com was launched in winter 2021 and the development of the site continues.
